How to Create a Newspaper Page

Use MS Word to creat a page (or 2) that look like a newspaper or magazine page. Think about the type of writing that you usually find in newspapers and magazines:
  • News articles
  • Information articles (eg. travel, countries)
  • horoscopes
  • Personal Stories
  • film, book, music, theatre or concert reviews
  • Comic strips
  • etc

You need to write your newspaper content in the classroom before you come to the computer class so that in the computer room you can concentrate on format and layout of your page.

Each page should have at least some of the following:

  • collumns
  • pictures
  • a headline/title & subheadings
  • a 'by' line (who is the article by?)

Ask your teacher if you have any questions, and of course, show us your work when it is finished!
